About the role
Title: Product Analyst
Location: Hybrid Regina, SK is the preferred location (2 -3 days a week)
Duration: 12 Months contract
Major Responsibilities:
- Working within a data team to modernize legacy ETL jobs utilizing AWS technologies and DataVault 2.0.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate complex business processes into clear, testable data requirements
- Partner with ETL and BI developers to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
- Manage incidents and incoming enhancement requests.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Contribute to data quality, governance, and observability efforts.
- Facilitate demos and feedback loops with stakeholders.
- Support investigation, analysis, and response to incidents.
- Ensure high quality of development and solution before product increment release.
Required Skills :
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and perseverance
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing, or Commerce and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in Agile teams, ideally in a data or analytics context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with tools like JIRA is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exposure to data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or AWS Glue/Redshift is an asset.
- A customer-centric mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Confident communicator adept at facilitation and comfortable building partnerships with key stakeholders
- Team player who embraces change and strives to improve and innovate processes.
- Eye for detail and a passion for building great products.
