Senior International Recruitment Officer Job Reference #202506-01
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Manager of Admissions & Recruitment, the Senior International Recruitment Officer will represent King’s University College in international recruitment to prospective students, parents, supporters, agents and other regional influencers.
The Senior International Recruitment Officer will:

Conduct presentations (both in-person or virtual) for prospective applicants, their supporters, school officials and agents, fields questions of a comprehensive and sometimes sensitive nature.
-
Contact high school officials to organize and coordinate school visits and travel schedules.
-
Participate both nationally and internationally in a range of recruitment events including (but not limited to) individual presentations, recruitment fairs, guidance counsellor information sessions, evening parent sessions both virtual and in-person.

Identify key opportunities for President or Senior Leaders delegation visits that drive and support key metrics and execute all corresponding plans
-
Be responsible for travel arrangements associated with international recruitment which involve extensive international travel for 6-8 months of the year.

Travel outside of Canada, often for several weeks at a time, to recruit and attend international education fairs and build prospect pool.
-
Maintain awareness of applicable cultural/regional interpersonal expectations, travel advisories and sensitivities in targeted markets.
-
Maintain continuous liaison with partner international recruitment agencies or agents on a regular basis
-
Contribute to the development, coordination, and implementation of the strategic international recruitment plans to advance the university’s priorities and goals.

Provide regular reporting and evaluation against key performance indicators (KPI’s) in the enrolment funnel from prospect to registered student.
-
Initiate, develop and maintain positive working relationships with Western and Huron University College, and other post-secondary institutions both nationally and internationally.
-
Responsible for International Recruitment social media presence for King’s (i.e. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.) as well as other forms of digital communication.

Provide immediate and consistent communication to students in a range of formats including but not limited to email, zoom, WhatsApp, texting.
-
Contribute to the development and updating of international recruitment materials, including but not limited to website, viewbooks, videos, social media, and region-specific drip campaigns
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred):
The successful candidate will have:

A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from King’s University)
-
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in international recruitment.
-
Demonstrated success in developing and executing international recruitment strategies
-
Experience working with educational agents.
-
Must have a G licence and clean driving record
-
Must have a valid passport, and ability to travel to other countries.
-
Must be fluent (oral and written) in English, an ability to communicate in additional languages is considered an asset.
-
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
-
Experience working with international populations and understanding of issues and barriers facing interanational students.
-
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, communication (oral and written), interview, group facilitation and cross-cultural relationship skills
-
Ability to exercise mature judgment, initiative, diplomacy and tact, with intercultural sensitivity
-
Excellent presentation, mentorship and leadership skills
-
Knowledge of study and travel work permit requirements'
-
Knowledge of immigration/citizenship policies and procedures
-
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines and respond to several simultaneous demands
-
Knowledge of student academic and registrar processes
-
Knowledge of global higher education systems and international student mobility trends.

Must have a thorough understanding of a wide variety of curriculum and extensive knowledge of international education systems and applicant types.

Ability to work flex hours and travel abroad for long periods of time.

Familiarity with CRM systems (Slate, Salesforce) and recruitment tools.
TYPE OF JOB:
Full Time – 35 hours per week
EFFECTIVE DATE:
As soon as possible.
SALARY RANGE:
PSG 14- $76,099 - $95,286 per annum, dependent on experience
