WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The LINE OPERATOR/SUPERVISOR works in production, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of various manufacturing machinery. Other duties include preparing machinery for daily use, inspecting machinery for safety issues, and training other employees. This role is responsible for troubleshooting any equipment errors and reporting them promptly. In this role you have a direct impact on the efficiency of our operation and is a key contributor.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 1-3 years experience as a Line leader and Machine Operation in a food manufacturing environment.
- Have a technical/mechanical aptitude and like to be hands-on.
- Great communication for working with others on the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues.
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks.
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Other skills and experiences that are considered an asset:
- Have a high school diploma, GED or higher academic certification
- Work experience with fillers, cappers, and labelers.
- Forklift certification and experience
- Joint Health and Safety Certification and /or First Aid and CPR Certification
