The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and improving computer systems managed by the Information Technology department. We are seeking someone with Oracle Cloud Fusion experience.

Location: Hybrid - must be available for training and weekly meetings in Grimsby or Oakville Ontario.

This Teammate Will Be Responsible For

  • Troubleshoot technical issues for Oracle Cloud, LS Retail, Magento, Microsoft Dynamics and all APL owned applications and its environments.
  • Write and create reports and SQL extracts as needed using Oracle Accounting reporting suite, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle BI Cloud Analytics
  • Collaborate with Business and Project Leads, as well as IT team to resolve issues and to ensure solutions are viable and consistent.
  • Support Oracle Fusion cloud applications (ERP, SCM, EPM, etc)
  • Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organization for Oracle Cloud, LS Retail, Magento, Microsoft Dynamics and all APL owned applications and its environments.
  • Keep current on OCI technologies, especially Oracle database.
  • Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems.
  • Provide support with designing, and testing standards and solutions for all APL Applications.
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required.
  • Defines application problems by conferring with users, evaluating procedures and processes.
  • Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions and validates results by testing programs.
  • Conducts regular reviews of systems and generates reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.
  • Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans for review and approval.
  • Maps and documents interfaces between legacy and new systems.
  • Understand software development lifecycles, change request processes
  • Participate in projects as needed.
  • Provide Level 1.5 and level 2 support.
  • Provide support after hours and/or weekends as required

We Are Looking For a Teammate With

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience with Oracle and Databases.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years network and system administration experience
  • 3 -5 years' experience implementing, configuring, and managing systems (Oracle Cloud, LS Retail, MSSQL).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with key business stakeholders, internal team members and vendors.
  • Knowledge on POS system and Application (LS Retail, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task, schedule and balance competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Working individually and within a team, in a dynamic, fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with other internal or external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
