We are looking for a Business Analyst specialised with Repo for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

Role Overview :

To support the development of this activity, the team needs to configure and integrate in the global information system of the Bank a new front-to-back office platform for Security Finance products.

Depends on program priorities, the candidate will intervene to analyse scope and requirements, participate to design of solution, support implementation and validation testing in various area such as pricing, Risk, Trades & events processing or accounting for Front-office department of the bank.

Key responsabilities :

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

• Participate to inception and architecture design of IT solutions in various area of the platform for the program or to solve production issues

• Writing down functional specifications for developers based on requirements provided by the business in order to describe the IT solution proposed for the configuration of the system and the interfaces with other systems

• Writing down IT test cases in order to test and validate the IT solution

• Validating the IT solution implemented (based on test cases defined)

• Training the end users on IT solution implemented

• Help to coordinate and participate to end users acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure roll-out of solution in production

• “Level 3” Production support: analysis, problem solving and defect fixing.

• Expected deliverables in Pricing, Risk, operational trade and events processing domain of APEX Repo & Sec Lending system:

• Estimates and Planning

• Writing the functional specification

• Participate tot the Level 3 Production support

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of Capital Markets activities, and repo

• Knowledge of the regulatory environment Capital Market.

• Experience working with Agile teams, and managing dependencies in an Agile and non-Agile team context

• A team player with real time management skills and able to work in a multi-cultural context

• Analytical reasoning and problem solving capabilities
