About The Role Primary responsibilities to focus on strengthening feedback loops and closing Actual vs Expected gaps via ongoing expansion in Life & Health reinsurance portfolio monitoring analytics:
- Identify use case, define business requirements and guide the data & tech team to develop new portfolio monitoring capabilities
- Strive for continuous enhancement in data coverage, reliability and capability in portfolio monitoring tools
- Drive change management and user adoption of tools. Engaging and instilling excitement across target user groups in all markets globally
- Define and/or build strategic linkages between distinctive data domains to generate new insights (e.g. pricing, technical accounting, policy, claims, valuation)
- Enhance L&H data quality via identifying gaps in upstream operational processes, and feedback to COO
- Develop best practice or operating guidelines to complement monitoring tools and enable appropriate interpretation of signals
About The Team LL&H Portfolio Steering and Monitoring is a global function with the core mandate to generate insights and connect our business to proactively steer L&H Re in delivering sustainable profit.
Essential About You
- Qualified Actuary with minimum 12 years experience in life re/insurance industry
- Ability to influence and engage with senior and/or non-technical stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities with high agility for learning new tools/techniques
- Practical knowledge of insurance performance drivers under IFRS17
- Analytical skills incl data transformation, cleaning, visualisation and insights generation
