Position Status: Regular Full Time Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Physiotherapy Neuro Rehab BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0730-1545 Union: Non Union GSS Rate of Pay: 25.46 - 30.13 PCN: 26NRTAS005

Date Competition Closes: July 17, 2025 Position Summary: Responsible for working under the direction of the team Physical and/or Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic programming to clients focused on helping them to achieve their discharge goals. This position works as part of the therapy team to contribute to the client's quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. Responsible for other related duties as required.

Program Summary: Neuro Rehabilitation Program – for adults who have had a neurological injury, such as a stroke, and require additional assessment, recuperation and rehabilitation before returning to the community.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program
  • Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential
  • Experience with computers preferred
