Location:

Melville, Saskatchewan

Assignment/Contract:

6.5 hours/day - Temporary - September 2, 2025 to June 25, 2026

Assignment and Term:

  • This position is a temporary part-time position of 6.5 hours per day in accordance with the Nutrition Worker school calendar.
  • The position commences on September 2, 2025, and will expire on June 25, 2026. The work schedule will be determined and rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.

Duties:

  • Duties include meal preparation and other duties as outlined on our website in Administrative Procedure 466 - Nutrition Worker: Role and Responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $20.04 - $21.85 plus applicable vacation pay.
  • Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan if eligible, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP) if enrolment is chosen and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
