The Senior Director, Compliance will be responsible for overseeing compliance within Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, and Regulatory Change. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to lead compliance initiatives across various banking sectors.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and policies.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Lead a team of compliance professionals and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance.
- Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or professional certification in compliance.
- Experience in managing large teams and complex projects.
- Proven track record of successful compliance program implementation.
Additional Information
- This position is available in Toronto, Ontario, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
