We are looking for enthusiastic Continuing Care Assistants to join our team. Join a team that clearly wants to make a difference in the lives of our sixty-one residents.
Continuing Care Assistant position available with open end date.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized Continuing Care Assistant Program
- Currently registered and in good standing with Nova Scotia CCA Registry
- Experience in continuing care an asset
- Demonstrated passion in working with residents with a focus on resident centered care
- Demonstrated communication skills, initiative and empathy skills
- Proven reliability for shift coverage
- Ability and confidence to work independently
- Physically able to perform duties of the position
- Regular attendance is required
- Must be able to provide a current vulnerable sector check
Responsibilities:
- To provide direct personal care and support to the residents of Queens Manor
Schedule:
· Shifts can be 4, 8, & 12 hours and may be days, evenings and nights, including weekends and holidays
Rate of Pay: As per Union Contract

Queens Manor is a long-term care facility which opened in 1981 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. We offer 24-hour care to those who can no longer care for themselves at home. We are a not-for-profit organization under the direction of a Board of Directors. At Queens Manor we believe in adding "life to years" offering second-to-none nursing care, nutritional and flavourful food, and a robust recreational and leisure program individually designed for each of our 61 residents.
