About the role
The Analytical Development team works closely with the Research, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management teams as well as with our external business partners. Research Technician in Analytical Development are key contributors to the development, qualification, and validation of analytical methods.
How we plan on keeping you busy:
- Key contributor to a team responsible for developing, improving, and qualifying analytical methods for characterization, in-process, release testing of our mRNA vaccine products.
- Design and execute experiments to support assay development and qualification activities.
- Execute routine testing with established methods.
- Maintain good documentation practices.
- Assist in methods transfer and troubleshooting.
- Perform statistical analysis and data trending where applicable.
- Perform periodic calibration or maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in ensuring that the laboratory is in a state of compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
What will help you get here:
- BSc or MSc in a discipline relevant to analytical testing for biologics (biomedical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, or closely related field).
- At least 1 year experience developing analytical assays for the testing of therapeutics or other biologics.
- Proven experience with the one or more of following research methodologies; Chromatography, qPCR, Electrophoresis, ELISA and other wet-lab techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
- A working knowledge of cGxPs is preferred.
