About the role
MSS Steel is a well-established custom metal fabrication company offering laser cutting, plasma/oxyfuel cutting, welding, forming and machining. We are currently looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper/ Office Manager that will conduct daily Order Tracking and Invoice Management duties. The ideal candidate should have over 2 years experience and be ready to work in a growing environment.

Job description:
- Send customers invoices for completed jobs, bi-weekly account statements and follow up with payments
- Record, post, and reconcile payments
- Resolving any payment discrepancies
- Generate purchase orders
- Record purchases
- Issue payments to vendors in a timely manner
- Perform miscellaneous accounting tasks as required
- Receive orders from sales team and issue work orders to production
- Keep track of orders for stages of competition in order to assist customers with their order status
- Keep an organized file of all documents related to orders
- Effective communication across departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Accounting software such as Sage 50
Education:
- Secondary school
- university/diploma preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment considered to be an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
