About the role
Responsibilities:
- Polishing cutlery and glassware and setting tables for meal service.
- Greeting patrons and answering questions.
- Presenting menu information; suggesting options according to guest preferences.
- Taking and serving food & beverage orders in a prompt and professional manner.
- Relaying orders to kitchen and facilitating special dietary requests
- Following up with guest within 2 minutes in regards to quality of meal
- Providing ongoing service while clearing cutlery, plates, etc…from previous courses.
- Presenting final bill and collection payment
- Answering general guest questions and addressing concerns
- Communication any concerns regarding food quality to Restaurant Manager.

- Performing all duties in a safe manner according to established safe work practices.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, near misses and/or hazardous conditions.
- Other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 for the purposes of serving alcohol.
- 2 years' previous food service experience.
- General liquor and wine service knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Well organized with have good cash handling skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Preference will be given to candidates with ProServe Certification.
Hours of Work: Days of the week vary according to business levels.
Shift vary between 6:00am – 2:30pm; weekends and holidays required.
