About the role
Position Summary: The Business Development Manager - MEWP will manage and expand relationships with existing dealerships, identify and onboard new dealerships, and ensure strong and productive partnerships. To achieve business goals, this role requires collaboration with internal teams, including service and sales. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage administrative and CRM tasks.

Territory (Sask. and Man) - 100 Burland Cresent, Hamilton, ON L8H 5Y4
Key Responsibilities:
· Dealer Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with current dealerships.
o Act as the primary point of contact for dealerships, addressing their needs and concerns.
o Monitor dealership performance and provide support to enhance their success.
· Dealer Acquisition:
o Identify potential dealerships and assess their fit with the company’s goals and values.
o Develop and execute strategies to onboard new dealerships.
o Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
· Relationship Management:
o Ensure consistent communication and support to strengthen partnerships.
o Organize regular meetings and events to engage with dealerships.
o Address and resolve any issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
· Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and service, to align efforts and achieve shared goals.
o Provide feedback and insights from dealerships to improve products, services, and processes.
· Leadership and Guidance:
o Mentor and guide team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
o Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and a proactive approach.
· Administration and CRM:
o Maintain accurate records of dealership interactions and performance in the CRM system.
o Prepare reports and analyze data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
· Organization:
o Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks.
o Stay organized to balance administrative responsibilities with relationship-building activities.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years in outside sales, territory, or account management.
· Ideally, a background in the MEWP industry.
· Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the dealership or for an OEM.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to travel as required to meet with dealerships.
