We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Commercial team based in London. Our Contracts Managers manage commercial contracts with high profile, high net worth private medical insurers (PMI) within HCA UK - £500m Plus. You will manage the day-to-day administration of multi-million-pound relationships, alongside negotiating and embedding new contracts. This supports us in the exceptional patient journey we are renowned for here at HCA UK.
As a Contracts Manager you’ll…
-
Lead effective day to day management of a portfolio of multi-£m relationships within HCA’s £700m p.a.+ PMI business
-
Negotiation and embedding of contracts, including update of contracts register and necessary communication to the business
-
Compliance and performance monitoring including ensuring reporting obligations are fulfilled
-
Day to day liaison (new procedures, prices, facility recognition etc.) and issue resolution
-
Contribute to value-adding communication to the business in relation to contracts status, performance, issues, and opportunities
-
Develop practical solutions to group-wide charging issues, taking practical steps to embed effectively within payer agreements
-
Champion and facilitate effective engagement with PMIs, resolving issues as necessary
-
Provide market and customer expertise to the business to ensure effective resolution of issues, where possible educating hospitals to resolve issues at source
-
Manage and develop junior team members to support delivery of an effective, efficient sand resilient service to the business as required

What you’ll bring:

Experience of Contract Management within a UK healthcare insurer or private healthcare provider.

Experience of managing high value contracts from day-to-day administration to negations and changes
-
Experience of negotiating high net worth contracts within healthcare.

Robust analytical/numeracy/ modelling skills
-
Forward thinking, with an ability to identify risks, issues and opportunities and plan ahead to develop and deliver effective solutions
-
Demonstrable skills in the commissioning /running of data, with the ability to draw insights
-
Ability to objectively deal with challenge and conflict situations and resolve effectively to optimize value
-
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
-
Demonstrable stakeholder relationship and management skill – able to influence
-
Ability to evidence self-development within career to date

About Lister Fertility Clinic
The Lister Fertility Clinic is one of the largest fertility centres in the UK. The clinic was established in 1988 and since that time has maintained its reputation as being one of the most successful IVF clinics in the country with nearly 20,000 'Lister' babies born.
The clinic prides itself on being able to assist couples whose treatment has been unsuccessful elsewhere and we operate a more flexible referral criteria in order to help couples with the more difficult fertility problems.
We offer a comprehensive range of fertility treatments. The Clinical Director is Mr James Nicopoullos, who leads an experienced team of doctors, nurses, embryologists and counsellors.
We are totally committed to providing the best medical and scientific services currently available within this field. We do so in an environment of genuine care, warmth and support for couples attending the clinic.
