We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day field operations, centralize dispatch and control center processes, and drive an operations-focused culture that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.

You’ll oversee a team of 10+ employees and contractors, manage both operational and capital budgets, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead utility and field operations, with a focus on water distribution and infrastructure maintenance.
• Develop and manage a centralized dispatch/control center.
• Supervise health & safety, regulatory, environmental, and emergency response programs.
• Oversee maintenance of fixed assets and rotating equipment.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Manage team performance, scheduling, and development.
• Lead capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Represent the organization in meetings with board members, partners, and government entities.

Ideal Candidate

• 8–15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, ideally in utilities, water services, energy, or field infrastructure.
• Proven track record building or modernizing dispatch or control center functions.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and change management skills.
• Field experience with infrastructure maintenance, rotating equipment, or water systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and environmental compliance.
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and managing complex operational portfolios.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
