JobSummary:

Provide Versatile Dealer network with service information to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. Also review warranty submissions, develop kits, bulletins, campaigns and update service manuals. Work with Engineering and suppliers to assist with product quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide our dealer network with technical assistance and service information for Versatile Tractors utilizing our on-line Dealer Network communication tools
• Review warranty claims, assist in development of kits, bulletins, campaigns and update service manuals
• Assist with service training. Travel to meet with dealers and attend farm shows
• Liaise with the Engineering, Service, Production and Quality departments as well as suppliers, to assist in product development and modification
• Ability to be on call during peak season for after service calls from Dealers
• International travel

Qualifications:

• Preference given to those with a minimum of 5 years mechanical experience with farm equipment or similar
• Journeyman Mechanic / Mechanical Technologist Certificate or similar background preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Good problem solving skills. Must be comfortable providing technical advice by phone
• Hold a valid driver’s license and passport

Working Conditions:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Travel required (Domestic and overseas)
