We are looking to hire Apprentice Electricians based out of our Edmontonbranch.

This role is specifically for Mod Yard work in the Edmonton area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all HSE policies and safe work procedures, including those related to hazardous materials, heights, confined spaces, and extreme weather conditions.
• Support Journeyman and apprentices with installation, maintenance, and replacement of equipment in oil and gas settings.
• Assist with electrical installations and troubleshooting, including conduit (EMT, PVC), wiring, lighting, batteries, solar panels, and MCC systems.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, splicing, joining, and connecting circuits.
• Use a variety of tools and testing equipment to measure continuity, voltage, and resistance.
• Interpret electrical drawings and circuit diagrams to support safe and accurate installations.
• Understand basic circuit and magnetic control fundamentals and apply them in day-to-day work.
• Work collaboratively and take direction, adapting to diverse conditions and environments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS**:**

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and Clean Drivers Abstract (an asset).
• Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing Clearance (Provided by employer).
• Fall Protection – certified by an authorized provider, First Aid (Level C with AED), CSTS (construction Safety Training Systems), CSO (Common Safety Orientation), ESTS (Electrical Safety Training Systems), WHMIS & TDG (To be provided internally), H2S Alive, Aerial Work Platform (up to 80 feet).
