The Distribution Centre Team Member is responsible for performing a number of duties related to shipping, receiving and stock keeping. This position is located at our Aberfoyle distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Operates a variety of material handling and packaging equipment (forklifts, hand-lift trucks, packaging, wrapping and crating equipment)
• Uses computers and related software to ensure accuracy and completion of order/transactions
• Responsible for the proper completion and accuracy of receiving and stock keeping activities
• Ensures shipping and receiving documentation and related paperwork are complete and accurate, as required
• Responsible for the proper packaging, loading and accuracy of shipments
• Ensures products is received, checked for damage and count, put away in assigned stock locations, picked, packaged, loaded on carriers to avoid damage and shipped according to established procedures
• May schedule carrier in accordance with established policies
• Processes and completes courier and carrier shipments and related documentation
• Responsible for following safe working guidelines/procedures
• May be required to train others

As the ideal candidate, you will bring this to the team: Completion of High School, or GED is required ;

• Must be familiar with packaging, wrapping and crating operations
• Must be familiar with computerized shipping system and related procedures
• Previous warehouse/distribution experience
• Prior experience operating
• Must be able to work 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday
