The following temporary position is open for applications:
GROUNDSPERSON****CUPE Competition No. 6051
**Location:**Whistler/Pemberton Area
Temporary**:Immediately to September 26, 2025, or return of the Incumbent, whichever occurs first**
**Hours:**8 hours per day, 1****2 months per year
Rate of Pay: **$****28.**84 per hour
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Manager: Transportation & Grounds and with the general direction of the Director of Facilities & Services, maintains safe, clean and presentable playing fields, lawns, School District property, playground equipment and fences.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 11 and over three (3) months up to and including six (6) months related grounds keeping experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with air endorsement.
- Pesticide Applicator's Certificate.
- Working knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems.
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials information Systems (WHMIS) and Worksafe BC (WSBC) safety procedures.
Competition Closes Wednesday August 6**, 202****4** at 4:00 p.m.
