We are a three physician clinic looking for a fourth full time physician to join our team. Applicants should be willing to see patients in the office, and attend to hospital patients. The hours are flexible and the office can accommodate up to 35 hours a week. We are part of a larger call group that enables members to take time off on weekends and holidays.
Benefits
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium: 6.09%
- Annual Flat Fee: $9,242.01
- Rural CME: $2,200/annum after 3 years in the community increasing to a maximum of $4,400 after 4 years.

Campbell River is a growing small town of about 40,000 people located at the boundary of Northern Vancouver Island. We are home to approximately 35 family physicians and a very supportive group of specialists (6 general internists, 5 general surgeons, 2 plastic surgeons, 4 orthopedic surgeons, 3 urologists (in Comox) and 2 OB/GYNEs). We have a fantastic cohort of emergency room physicians (combo of CCFP and FRCP trained) who are gracious enough to do admission orders for us, making inpatient care very doable.
