Summary
We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team at Blood Brothers Brewing. In this role, you will be responsible for the brewing process, cellar work, and packaging assistance when needed, ensuring the production of high-quality beers that align with our brand's commitment to innovation and excellence. This position is vital to our mission of providing exceptional craft beer to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Execute the brewing process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness throughout the brewing area.
- Fabricate and assemble brewing equipment as needed for production.
- Monitor fermentation and conditioning processes, making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on beer samples throughout the brewing process.
- Package finished products for distribution while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new beer recipes and improve existing ones.
Requirements
- Proven experience in brewing.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating batch sizes.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

From the way we source our ingredients to our methodical brewing process, we approach each step with passion and independent spirit. Our goal is to provide innovative beers to all of our customers. We strive to push back against consolidation and uniformity in todays beer market.
Our beer can be found in a variety of bars in the Toronto area as well as purchased directly from our bottle shop.
