This position is responsible for completing mechanical maintenance, modification, construction, and inspection of all attractions with a focus on those regulated by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).
FULL TIME -YEAR ROUND Full Benefits And Perks - (health And Dental) WAGE- WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Identify hazards and potential hazards involving guests, employees, and machinery
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance on all attractions
- Conduct routine mechanical maintenance and periodic inspections on all attractions to ensure reliability and compliance with applicable standards
- Build, install, and modify attractions as per TSSA regulations, manufacturer and insurance carrier standards
- Advise leadership of changing conditions or occurrences that may adversely affect attractions and/or its guests
- Document all maintenance performed
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
- 3-4 years of Attractions Maintenance experience with amusement devices regulated under the TSSA
- TSSA Certified – Amusement Device Mechanic, Amusement Ride (ADM-AR) would be an asset
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of building construction as well as TSSA requirements is required
- G license required
- Certifications as a Welder, Millwright, Electrician or Mechanic would be an asset
- Knowledge of hydraulics and low voltage circuitry would be an asset
- Experience operating off road equipment (ATV, snowmobile, etc.)
- Able to work at high heights
- High Angle Ropes Rescue 1 would be an asset.
