The Job – Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist
On Side Restoration is looking for an Accounts Receivables Cash Application Specialist (ARCAS) to join our team. A typical day in the life of the ARCAS involves initiating and coordinating accounts receivable collections, account reviews, and anything else involved with bringing cash in!
Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialists are responsible for:
- Post daily receipts (cheques, EFTs, e-transfers, credit card payments) in a timely manner to ensure accurate accounts receivable balances
- Identify and resolve payment/invoice discrepancies
- Process e-transfers, credit card payments/refunds
- Provide daily reports to management
- Manage and coordinate requests and inquiries received in the Accounts Receivable inbox daily
- Provide back up support and coverage to the Accounts Receivable team as required
- Provide direction or support in other areas as requested/required
What you bring:
- Minimum Post-Secondary Education – Diploma in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with ERP system is a must
- Insurance background work experience is an asset
- Experience in the construction/restoration field will be an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Must have experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP in Excel.
- Strong detail orientation and accuracy
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Ability to investigate to ensure client payments are applied correctly to invoices
Work Location:
- This role requires the successful candidate to work from the Vancouver branch for the probationary period. Once probation is complete, a flexible hybrid approach will be discussed. While there are no minimum or maximum time requirements, each team’s need for weekly in-person connections will fluctuate.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
