JOB TITLE:
Quality Assurance Specialist
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for providing leadership to cleaning teams within assigned portfolio. This position ensures that the company exceeds client needs and expectations through ongoing processes of management, quality assurance and process improvement.
REPORTS TO:
Operations Manager.
DIRECT REPORTS:
Site Supervisor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor job site productivity for assigned locations and contracts. Ensure scope and service standards are met and labor cost is maintained to budget.
- Manage par levels for all supplies. Complete and submit new orders according to job site requirements, established par stock, and purchasing policy.
- Assist with the completion of inventories of equipment and supplies for assigned locations and contracts.
- Recognize and action opportunities that may exist to reduce costs without compromising quality in all aspects of the operation.
- Manage labor, supplies and other operational costs within budget.
- Complete regular job site visits and inspections to ensure quality of the service product.
- Manage all vendors and preferred partners ensuring they support the corporate philosophy, fundamental objective, and mission statement always.
- Communicate with account stakeholders and immediately resolve any service issues or concerns.
- Proactively address potential service issues at assigned job sites. Bring potential service issues to the attention of the Operations Manager and follow-up with the Owner or Manager as required.
- Ensure all documents, forms, schedules, and memorandums pertaining to the scope of work are up to date.
- Ensure all staff are in uniform and proper working attire during scheduled working hours.
- Complete a Workplace Inspection Checklist for each account on a quarterly basis.
- Monitor, evaluate, and manage employee performance to ensure quality of service and maximum productivity.
- Provide and manage all site/job specific training requirements – WHMIS, AODA, Health and Safety, etc.
- Coach, mentor, support on site staff and engage with them on a regular basis.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be required to work after-hours as well as weekends and holidays. Thison the road position, involving 09% travelling across Mutiple sites.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strength Guidelines
May need to lift boxes and other office items up to 50 pounds.
- Motion Parameters
May be required to sit for extended periods of time and have full range of motion
- Vision and Hearing Requirements
May need to spend extended periods of time in front of a computer screen
- Psychological Demands
May be required to solve problems and provide analysis to manager
