Join a small, but mighty marketing team who support two regional airline brands: Perimeter Aviation and Bearskin Airlines. We’re looking for a data-savvy and strategic marketer who’s a natural self-starter to help drive results across digital channels. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a passion for campaign execution and performance—from writing compelling ad copy to supporting seat sales, loyalty initiatives, and managing Google Ads and Analytics.

As the Marketing Specialist – Digital & Growth, you’re a detail-oriented marketer who’s confident writing across formats, loves optimizing for performance, and thrives on making things better with every iteration. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in revenue management, social, design, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution

  • Plan, write, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and lead generation for a variety of needs including recruitment, loyalty, sales, surveys, and payment options, while ensuring timelines and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors including designers, content creators, and media buyers to ensure consistent messaging and seamless user experience.

SEO & Website Optimization

  • Optimize SEO-friendly web content to support discoverability and digital experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on web updates, landing pages, and digital flows.
  • Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, and refine content based on search trends and user behaviour.

Growth & Optimization Initiatives

  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify fare trends, and competitor activity to inform and optimize campaigns.
  • Plan, build, optimize, and analyze targeted email marketing campaigns that support seat sales, loyalty sign-ups, and promotional initiatives, ensuring audience segmentation and alignment with digital advertising growth objectives.
  • Support and optimize the loyalty program, including audience segmentation, campaign execution, member engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Manage the setup, distribution, and reporting of surveys for promotions, passenger feedback, and customer experience initiatives; support the team in identifying actionable insights.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and platform insights.
  • Track KPIs including CTR, open rates, conversion rates, CPA, and ROI, and use insights to improve tactics and maximize results.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize digital performance and revenue impact.

General Project Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional marketing projects that support both passenger-facing and employee-facing initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of merchandise site and ongoing merchandise programs, including product selection, vendor coordination, and promotional planning.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or campaign execution.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute successful digital campaigns, with experience writing for ads, email, and web.
  • Proficient in Google Ads, SEO best practices, and email marketing platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with familiarity in WordPress or other CMS tools.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Analytics, or SEO are considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in aviation or airline marketing, ameliaRES, AmeliaCARGO, Power BI an asset.
  • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances.

Working Conditions

  • Physically able to perform all listed job duties.
  • Office-based role with some travel required (including air and water transportation).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and engage in computer-based work.
  • Participation in offsite company events and sponsorship activities.

Due to the nature of our industry, this role is based onsite with the opportunity for some remote work. As an airline, we operate in a highly collaborative, time-sensitive environment that requires close coordination with cross-functional teams. In-person presence supports real-time communication, access to shared tools, and the ability to quickly develop content that is responsive to operational needs and aligned with our audience.
