Role:

We are currently looking for a full-time Accounting Technician for our office in Edmonton.

Responsibilities:

· bookkeeping, payroll and other accounting work as required

· provide support and training to clients on various bookkeeping and payroll systems at client premises

· complete supplementary tax related documents such as GST returns, T4s, T5s, etc.

· ability to complete online bookkeeping transactions

· perform duties as required for coverage of administrative staff

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar or related role

· Accounting experience and knowledge working with QuickBooks and Sage

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)

· Exceptional time management and organizational skills

· Experience with other accounting software such as CaseWare and TaxPrep are not required but would be considered an asset

Compensation:
