About the role
Position Summary: This position will support the routing department in maintaining timely order flow through the VF Outdoor Brampton facility. The associate will oversee orders in process at the DC, route completed shipments, and work towards the resolution of issues preventing orders from being shipped.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret excel reports to drive a workflow of actionable tasks
Route orders in a timely manner and arrange delivery appointments, while abiding by customers procedures and requirements
Co-ordinate with carriers to ensure the timely pick-up and delivery of outbound orders
Maintain strong working relationships with VF’s customer service team
Perform a variety of clerical activities and cross-functional duties
Perform various administrative tasks such as preparing and closing BOL’s, calculating freight charges, upkeeping logs, data entry, and filing paperwork
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required
Understand warehouse processes and efficiently navigate in a Warehouse Management System (i.e. PKMS) preferred
Ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
Capable of following organized daily production schedules, as well as working independently under minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Flexible to implement and adapt to new work processes, and take on new tasks
Professionalism – work with integrity while representing and protecting the reputation of VF Canada Outdoor and its brands
Occasionally required to investigate on the DC floor, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to pass a Microsoft Excel assessment as part of the recruitment process.
Hiring Range : $20.00 CAD - $25.00 CAD per hour
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
