Overview

In this role, you’ll support employees throughout their on-site journey-coordinating service requests, leading workplace orientations, managing event space bookings, and ensuring service excellence across our workplace. This role is critical in enhancing the day-to-day experience of our teams and fostering a strong safety and service culture.

Where you’ll work
In this role, you'll work in our Richmond office five days a week.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and monitor workplace services to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with performance benchmarks, while proactively resolving concerns and enhancing the employee experience.
- Serve as the primary contact for event space coordination, supporting internal clients with planning, logistics, and vendor management to ensure successful meetings and events.
- Lead workplace orientations and tours for new employees, promoting awareness of services, amenities, and policies to support a smooth onboarding experience.
- Manage service requests and provider relationships, ensuring timely responses, adherence to service agreements, and continuous improvement through data tracking and reporting.
- Support a culture of safety and operational excellence by addressing workplace concerns, maintaining accurate data systems, and contributing to a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Consistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a knack for juggling multiple priorities, service requests, and event logistics.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, whether you're guiding a new hire, coordinating with vendors, or responding to service inquiries.
- Think proactively and solve problems independently, using sound judgment while aligning with policies and procedures.
- Value collaboration and inclusivity, and are committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and efficient work environment.
Your background and experience
A degree in business administration, office/hospitality management, event planning/coordination, or related discipline with 3 to 6 years (real time) of experience in a planning, scheduling, and coordinating role within a complex business environment, with an emphasis on employee engagement or customer service.
We will consider equivalent combinations of education and experience.
