iGaming Ontario leads the Province of Ontario’s dynamic internet gaming (igaming) market that, in its third year generated $83 billion in total wagers, a 31% increase over the previous year. This resulted in $3.2 billion in total gaming revenue from over 80 gaming sites. Even more, Ontario’s igaming market sustained almost 15,000 full-time equivalent jobs across the province. To achieve these results, igaming Ontario is guided by its vision to Lead the World’s Best Gaming Market.

iGaming Ontario is seeking an Account Manager to be accountable for relationship management and performance delivery with igaming operators.

As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Advocate internally for operators to be competitive, innovative and successful while supporting them to meet their commitments under the operating agreement.
  • Manage relationship governance and monitor adherence to contractual requirements and contract management terms.
  • Work with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure deliverables are received on time and with the expected quality.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Law or related field together with a minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience as a contract manager/commercial service delivery manager across relevant online/digital industries and sectors.
  • An expert level of understanding of igaming operations, igaming products and services and the management of contractual relationships and commercial terms.
  • A strong work ethic to succeed in a dynamic, fast-moving and results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills together with a record of developing strong working relationships with executives and peers across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Practical knowledge in developing, implementing, and supporting contract management processes.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to gather and analyze information and to organize, clarify and simplify data for a variety of audiences.
  • Exemplary communication skills and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the use of computer databases/programs and office technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office, Power BI).
  • Excellent organizational skills to coordinate and ensure priorities are established and deadlines are met.
  • Knowledge of the iGaming industry, including the nature, structure and operations of iGaming operators and iGaming related suppliers.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.

This position currently offers a hybrid work location. iGaming Ontario has implemented a minimum three-day per week in-office schedule. iGaming Ontario reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

This position falls within the scope of a bargaining unit represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU). In the upcoming months, iGaming Ontario and OPSEU will be negotiating the terms of a collective agreement which, once concluded, will govern the terms and conditions of this position.
