About the role

True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual to detail to join our team.

The Coordinator, Ticket Marketing is responsible for supporting all ticketing-related marketing initiatives and campaigns. This role collaborates closely with the Ticket/Premium Sales teams and the broader Marketing department to assist in the execution of creative campaigns that drive individual, group, and season ticket sales.

This position is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to learn, grow, and develop within a professional sports marketing environment.

What to be excited for in this role:

  • Support the development and execution of ticket marketing campaigns, in collaboration with the Ticket Sales, Premium Sales teams, and Marketing teams to drive fan engagement and revenue.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of compelling marketing assets, including promotional graphics, videos, social media posts, and email content that showcases key ticketing products and promotions.
  • Coordinate and traffic marketing content across all platforms including team website, social media channels, in-game digital boards, radio, outdoor advertising, and the Jets Mobile App mobile app – ensuring timely and accurate deployment.
  • Maintain and update campaign timelines and marketing tools, including marketing calendars, and project management tools.
  • Monitor campaign performance across paid, earned, and owned media, and support reporting efforts by compiling meaningful insights that help shape future strategies.
  • Help transform campaign performance data into visual and narrative summaries that support monthly reports and internal presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/agencies to help execute campaigns that meet business goals and deliver a seamless fan experience.
  • Lead Groups Sales Campaigns by collaborating with the ticket sales team to help design and market theme nights and group ticketing experiences that appeal to community organizations and businesses.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions, bringing fresh ideas to the table while gaining exposure to all areas of marketing operations.
  • Help segment audiences and personalize messaging using CRM tools to better target fans with relevant offers.
  • Manage and update select website content, ensuring timely and accurate ticket information is published.
  • Act as campaign quality assurance lead, proof reading marketing materials and testing digital links and ticket paths to ensure a seamless fan experience.
  • Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.

What we need from you:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field; Internships or relevant co-op placements are an asset.
  • Interest in sports and entertainment marketing, particularly hockey, is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and copy accuracy is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and project management platforms (e.g., Asana) is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, email platforms, and social media.
  • Comfortability with reading and interpreting data sets and reports to identify trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
