Position: LINC Online Delivery Liaison – Outreach & Promotion
Location: ISSofBC Vancouver or Coquitlam Location
Temporary full-time hybrid position at 35 hours per week starting in July until March 31,

Summary:
This position plays a key role in implementation of the successful LINC online classroom delivery strategy by supporting
outreach and engagement, collaborating with the marketing team and community partners, attending community events, and
delivering informational workshops to raise awareness about the LINC program.
How You’ll Make a Difference:
Outreach & Promotion
Collaborate with the marketing/communications team to develop outreach strategies for LINC online classes.
Provide culturally relevant content in simple English for the design and development of promotional materials, such as
flyers, social media content, email campaigns, and website updates.
Promote LINC online classes through community networks, local agencies, libraries, and newcomer service providers.
Represent the LINC program at outreach events (virtual or in-person) and build relationships with community partners.
Community Engagement
Identify and connect with key community organizations that serve newcomer populations.
Share LINC program information with internal and external staff: front-line workers, settlement workers, and referral
agencies.
Help tailor messaging to reach specific communities (e.g., language groups, seniors, youth, caregivers).
Program Support
Assist with inquiries and intake related to online classes.
In collaboration with Marketing Specialist, monitor outreach efforts and provide feedback on what's working.
Gather and report on community needs or trends to inform future programming and outreach.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or a related field and minimum four (4) years professional
marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in outreach,
communications, or community engagement—ideally in a newcomer-serving or nonprofit setting.
What Makes You a Change Maker:
Knowledge of LINC and/or federally funded language programs and IRCC funded programming.
Strong communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to create clear and culturally appropriate messaging.
Understanding of social media platforms and digital outreach.
Comfortable presenting to groups and engaging with diverse communities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Demonstrated cultural competency and commitment to working effectively with diverse populations.
Motivated to support newcomer communities and aligned with ISSofBC’s values.
Ability to maintain a clear provincial criminal record check.

Expected Hiring Range: $26.47 - $29.13 *Dependent on education, training, experience, and internal equity. *Wage grids
are reviewed annually. We are a proud and certified Living Wage BC Employer. Our current total compensation package
continues to meet the requirements of living wages in BC to support our employees.
