Settlements & Rental Manager
About the role
The Brandt Group of Companies has a position available for a Settlements & Rental Manager located in our Calgary Head Office location. This position is responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Settlements and Rental team, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to policies, and the achievement of performance targets.
Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Settlements and Rental functions to ensure smooth and efficient workflows
- Oversee billing processes, ensuring all settlement and rental invoicing is accurate, timely and compliant with company policies
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate Settlements and Rental staff, ensuring team members are well-equipped with current job descriptions and necessary skillsets
- Provide strong leadership and motivation to the team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on timely and accurate outcomes
- Maintain and enhance systems and tools critical to the efficient operation of the Settlements and Rental Department
- Ensure all settlement and rental agreements are reviewed, processed and in alignment with internal policies
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive greater efficiency and accuracy
- Perform additional duties and support tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in accounting
- At least 2 years of proven leadership and supervisory experience, including managing teams or directing accounting functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and professional experience may be considered
