Medical Affairs Manager (100%) - Switzerland
About the role
Our Swiss affiliate, located in Fribourg, is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager for a newly established role within the existing Brand Team focused on key products within our Respiratory portfolio . As part of a dedicated team of five and reporting to the Medical Affairs Team Lead, you will support the Respiratory Brand Team in medical affairs tasks. A key aspect of the role involves building and nurturing strong relationships with General Practitioners (GPs) mainly.
Your Main Responsibilities Are As Follows
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs in the respiratory area
- Organize and attend peer-to-peer lunch meetings, roundtable discussions and support the organization of national symposia
- Provide accurate product information and scientific documentation, and respond promptly to medico-scientific inquiries from both internal teams and external stakeholders (physicians, pharmacists, patients, etc.)
- Support the Marketing and Sales departments with scientific expertise, including the validation of promotional materials
- Communicate relevant scientific insights from field interactions to local medical teams, contributing to the integration of real-world expertise
- Provide quarterly newsletters to relevant stakeholders
- Work together with the Brand Team to conduct internal training while ensuring full compliance with the regulations
- Contribute to pharmacovigilance by assisting with the transmission and processing of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs)
- Support the Medical Affairs Lead on strategy development
Please note that this a field-based position requiring approximatively 20% presence at our office in Villars-sur-Glâne.
To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Scientific or Medical education (MSc required, PhD preferred)
- Ideally a first experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison or research
- Knowledge of the Swiss medical environment is a plus
- Experience in planning and delivering medical trainings an asset
- German as mother tongue with fluency in French. Good command in English is an asset
- Available to travel nationwide
