Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Wednesdays onsite required; preference for GTA-based candidates)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full-time)
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (no overtime required)
Pay Rate: Up to $16-19/hour
About The Role We’re hiring a Junior Business Analyst to join the Supplier Management group within the Technology & Operations (T&O) division of Capital Markets at a leading Canadian bank. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented and organized, looking to gain hands-on experience in vendor and contract management within a financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze vendor agreements, including T&M contracts and SOWs
- Identify and report on variances within documentation
- Take detailed notes during meetings and prepare contract summaries (services, costs, funding, approvals, POs, hours, rates)
- Track and maintain the status of various agreements and ensure accurate documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across T&O, Procurement, and vendor management teams
- Assist with vendor setup in SEMS and coordinate with Procurement to ensure compliance
- Support investigations into new vendor activity
- Participate in ongoing support and maintenance of supplier processes
Must-Have Skills
- Strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Self-starter with strong initiative and motivation
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in banking or financial institutions (especially Capital Markets)
- Previous exposure to supplier/vendor management
