Customs & Trade Compliance Senior Analyst This position reports into Customs & Trade Operations Lead, North America and is based at Markham, ON, Canada .

Role reports to: Customs & Trade Operations Lead, North America
Location: Markham, ON, Canada
Travel %: Minimal
What You Will Do As a Customs & Trade Compliance Senior Analyst, you will support Kenvue’s North America trade operations team by ensuring adherence to customs regulations and seamless import processes. You will lead daily execution, reporting, and improvement initiatives across customs and trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of import customs compliance transactions and processes for timely entry and customs release.
- Ensure compliance with CBP, CBSA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics and global trade compliance teams to drive efficient operations.
- Partner with external brokers and forwarders to ensure timely and accurate customs filings.
- Manage daily reporting of entry status for live shipments and reconcile import clearance delays.
- Address broker information requests to support timely shipment clearance.
- Assist in harmonized tariff classification (HTS), FDA coding, and post-entry corrections.
- Contribute to audit support by gathering necessary customs data.
- Monitor and implement evolving trade compliance strategies and process improvements.
- Maintain awareness of Free Trade Agreements and their implications for Kenvue’s operations.
Required Qualifications What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of experience in import logistics in a corporate or customs brokerage environment.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. & Canadian import customs and FDA regulations.
- Strong experience with HTS, Schedule B, CBP/CBSA systems (e.g., ACE), and Incoterms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate+ proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, Data Analytics, and Power BI.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
- CTCS (Certified Trade Compliance Specialist) or CBL (Customs Broker License) certification.
- Experience with trade compliance process improvement initiatives.
