Actuarial Analyst – Fully Remote!
Our client is an international composite Insurer, with thriving operations in Bermuda, Caribbean, Europe and Canada. They are seeking a driven, and analytically minded individual ready to make a significant impact in the world of Insurance as an Actuarial Analyst. In this pivotal role, you'll be immersed in a challenging and rewarding environment, working alongside experienced actuaries and contributing to a wide range of essential functions. You’ll gain invaluable experience across various lines of business, fostering a deep understanding of the composite insurance landscape.
Your Core Responsibilities will include:
- Diving into High-Impact Projects
- Shaping Assumption Setting
- Driving Innovation
- Mastering Valuation Techniques (IFRS 17)

The background our client seeks is as follows:
- 3-5 years industry experience (Life/Pension/Health/Annuity-any P&C is a great add on!)
- Pre-ASA to ASA / ACIA equivalence
- Background in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, finance, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with GGY AXIS considered a bonus (or other actuarial valuation software)
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- An interest in working in a highly dynamic environment
