About the role
What You’ll Do
- Provide physical security controls (people, process, technology) and manage the day-to-day physical security operations at corporate office campuses and events both domestically and internationally
- Provide management, guidance, and leadership to multi-faceted and geographically disbursed teams and customers
- Manage physical security related operating directives, standards, processes, guidelines, and controls related to the protection of all employees, Board of Directors and executives
- Provide direct operational oversight, direction, accountability, and continued development of the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC)
- Proactively identify, analyze, and implement appropriate action that minimizes the likelihood, frequency, and impact of threats and risks that could adversely impact the security of the company, people, assets, and/or financial exposure at all corporate office locations
- Complete physical threat assessments, provide advance security planning and actively provide event support for all corporate events, external activations, and employee domestic and international travel
- Assess, develop, and execute security responses to mitigate immediate or potential physical enterprise-wide security threats
- Maintain a strong physical employee security and executive protection program, inclusive of duty of care and travel management, sound tactical plans that mitigate risks and potential exposures identified through event analysis, response, reaction, and recovery of incidents at an early onset
- Plan and execute technical surveillance counter measure inspections
- In partnership with other stakeholders, support and provide physical security expertise and guidance, and operational compliment across inter-departmental teams
- Be accountable for vendor management including personnel management, contract governance, KPI and SLA management and associated relationship management
- Escalate issues, findings, and recommendations in an organized and efficient manner to business stakeholders, the AVP or the VP expeditiously
- Effectively manage operating and capital forecasting and budgets as communicated by the AVP of Enterprise Security and Loss Prevention
What You Bring
- 6-8 Years of combined experience in security operations, including: physical security, personal and employee protection, event security, travel security management and workplace investigations
- 3+ Years of leadership, mentorship, or management experience with a strong propensity for team building and coaching
- Exceptional ability to manage conflicting priorities under pressure and in a time-sensitive environment
- Experience conducting threat risk assessments, providing risk mitigation and personal/ employee protection
- Experience encouraging a collaborative practice within employee and agency security teams to deliver best in class protection programs and business deliverables
- Experience conducting and participating in workplace investigations, gap analysis, mitigations, and remediation
- Thorough understanding of change management, project management and program testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships and influence across a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders

What You’ll Do
