L'usine ABB Mesure & Analyse de Québec est chef de file mondial dans le domaine de la spectroscopie. Notre service d'ingénierie contractuelle est le plus important fournisseur canadien de capteurs optiques spatiaux utilisés, entre autres, pour la surveillance des émissions de gaz à effet de serre et pour les prévisions météorologiques mondiale. Notre usine est également reconnue pour son expertise dans le développement et la fabrication de divers produits qui permettent de répondre quotidiennement à plusieurs besoins d'analyse industrielle.

En joignant l'un des plus vastes départements d’ingénierie à Québec, vous contribuerez activement aux projets de nos clients, ainsi qu’à la recherche et au développement de notre technologie. Vous ferez partie d’une équipe multidisciplinaire dynamique et stimulante.

Vous assisterez le gestionnaire principal pour des projets de contrats d’ingénierie au sein de l’unité d’affaires Mesure et Analyse dans la ville de Québec (Canada). Vous mènerez à bien l’exécution de projets de complexités variables dont les budgets se situent entre 1M$ et 50M$. Vos clients et vos projets sont variés et comptent notamment les agences spatiales canadienne et européenne. Rattaché(e) au bureau de projets vous assurerez la livraison des projets en orchestrant rigoureusement les communications et le suivi de toutes les parties prenantes. Sous votre leadership votre équipe sera engagée à développer, dans le respect des budgets, des produits à la fine pointe de la technologie qui respectent des critères de qualité sévères et qui se conforment aux requis exigeants de notre clientèle.

Votre rôle : Relevez le défi

• Diriger l'équipe de projet avec des directives, des tâches et des étapes claires, tout en motivant et en fournissant un retour d'information.
• Gérer tous les aspects du projet conformément aux exigences du client et veiller à ce que tous les objectifs techniques, de sécurité, de qualité et financiers soient atteints.
• Superviser l'élaboration des documents du plan de projet en ce qui concerne la portée, le budget, l'échéancier et la gestion des risques.
• Surveiller chaque étape de la mise en œuvre du projet pour garantir les meilleures pratiques en matière de contrôle des coûts, d’utilisation rationnelle des ressources, de gestion des risques, ainsi que de santé, de sécurité et d’environnement.
• Identifier, analyser et gérer les risques du projet, en partageant régulièrement les enseignements acquis.
• Coordonner la négociation des contrats et l’achat de matériel en collaboration avec la chaine d'approvisionnement.
• Négocier les amendements et changements au projet.
• Établir des relations solides avec les clients et les parties prenantes.

Ce qu’il vous faut:

• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de projets ou d’équipes (réalisations concrètes) avec de l’expérience à l’international
• Attitude collaborative axée sur les solutions et une forte habilité en communication tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Grandes aptitudes d’analyse, de gestion des risques, de négociation, de résolution de problèmes et de prise de décisions
• Sens des affaires, bonne compréhension des besoins des clients et capacité à entretenir de bonnes relations avec ceux-ci.
• Le français est requis. L'anglais est nécessaire pour communiquer avec des clients à l’extérieur du Québec sur une base régulière.

The ABB Measurement & Analytics plant in Quebec is a global leader in spectroscopy.

Our contract engineering department is the largest Canadian supplier of space optical sensors used, among other things, for monitoring greenhouse gas emissions and global weather forecasting. Our plant is also recognized for its expertise in developing and manufacturing various products that meet a wide range of industrial analysis needs on a daily basis.

By joining one of the largest engineering departments in Quebec, you will actively contribute to our clients’ projects as well as to the research and development of our technology. You will be part of a dynamic and stimulating multidisciplinary team.

You will assist the senior manager with engineering contract projects within the Measurement & Analytics business unit in Quebec City (Canada). You will successfully execute projects of varying complexity with budgets ranging from $1M to $50M. Your clients and projects are diverse and include, notably, the Canadian and European space agencies. Reporting to the project office, you will ensure project delivery by rigorously coordinating communications and follow-ups with all stakeholders. Under your leadership, your team will be committed to developing cutting-edge products within budget, meeting strict quality standards, and complying with the demanding requirements of our clientele.

Your Role: Take on the Challenge

• Lead the project team with clear guidance, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
• Manage all aspects of the project in accordance with customer requirements and ensure all technical, safety, quality, and financial objectives are met.
• Oversee the development of project plan documents regarding scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Monitor each stage of project implementation to ensure best practices in cost control, resource use, risk management, and health, safety, and environment.
• Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, regularly sharing lessons learned.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and material procurement in collaboration with the supply chain.
• Negotiate project amendments and changes.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What You Need:

• At least 5 years of experience in project or team management (with concrete achievements), including international experience.
• A collaborative, solution-oriented attitude and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical, risk management, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Business acumen, a good understanding of customer needs, and the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
• French is required. English is necessary for regular communication with clients outside Quebec.
