Nature of the work
Do you always receive your friends at the door with a big smile? We've got the job for you! The host(sse) greets customers at the door with a smile and leads them back to their table or to the bar. You can perform a variety of tasks to make the customer experience more enjoyable and ensure they come back. We may require your services at the counter to take out.
Main functions
- Take reservations, greet customers, present the menu, make suggestions, and answer questions about the menu and beverages.
- Applies the rules of hygiene and health and safety.
- Performs all or part of the function or duties related to the maintenance of the restaurant and equipment.
- Ensures that the workstation is always kept clean.
- Organizes his/her workstation efficiently.
- Use sales techniques.
- Maintains dining room menus.
- Executes all other tasks requested by the manager.
- Greets the customers, presents the menu.
- Maintains the dining room menus.
- Ensures his or her work area is always clean.
- Organizes his or her work area efficiently.
- To provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
To have good interpersonal skills, to be at ease in contacts, to have team spirit, a sense of collaboration, the ability to adapt to a situation, good communication and good listening skills. This is a plus if you are bilingual. Being dynamic, honest, and success- oriented is a must. You will have to be able to work well during rush hour.
Working conditions
- Competitive salary,
- The schedule is variable depending on the position, day, evening, or weekend,
- Possibility of working part-time or full-time,
- Schedules may be split hours.
