We are looking for candidates to fill the following position:
Controls Technician (Programmer)
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop, program and configure building control systems to meet specific customer needs.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to design and implement effective building control solutions.
- Perform tests and debugging to ensure the proper functioning of building control systems.
- Make the graphic pages for web interfaces and others.
- Ensure complete documentation of programs and configurations performed.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of building control systems.
- Provide technical support to customers and solve problems related to building control systems.
- Support and assistance to project managers.
- Follow the technological developments in the field of building control and propose improvements to optimize performance.
Profile and skills we are looking for
- Minimum 2 years' professional experience in building control systems programming.
- Excellent knowledge of BASIC languages and/or logic blocks.
- Proficiency in communication protocols commonly used in building control (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Thorough understanding of the operating principles of building control equipment such as sensors, actuators and controllers.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Bilingualism (French and English)
