Maintains inventory in an organized and functional manner, maximizing on the limited space available in the warehouse.
Inspects all incoming goods to ensure accuracy in quantity, part number and condition.
Properly receives all parts and merchandise according to Normet Canada’s protocol. This includes completing all required paperwork and forwarding paperwork to purchasing.
Ensures that all inventories are received in good condition. Informs Purchasing of any damaged parts or goods.
Picks up parts from suppliers and delivers components to suppliers, as directed by Purchasing.
Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of forklift, pallet and hand truck as required.
Unloads shipping trucks as required.
Maintains all warehouse equipment and tools in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Picks and packages orders that are brought out to warehouse for shipment.
Ensures that parts shipped to customers are in good condition and are properly packaged and arranged in shipping container to ensure no damage in shipment.
Ships parts to customers in a timely manner by the shipping method requested by the customer and instructed by customer service.
Confirms pick lists and prints Sales Order from ERP system. Ensures Sales Order is accurately completed and placed in each package.
Delivers parts to underground mining warehouses, as advised by customer service.
Provides tracking numbers for all shipments to customer service. Tracks shipments for customers and customer service.
Assembles spare parts kits and component assemblies according to specifications provided by warehouse coordinator or purchaser.
Pulls and inventories all parts to be used by Services for upfit and rebuild projects.
Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety and health regulations in the warehouse are followed and enforced.
Is responsible for the security of warehouse and all inventory and tooling with team leader, warehouse.
Makes suggestions on areas of improvement and development of the warehouse and logistics.
Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
