We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our Bedford, NS Dealership as an RV Detailer (Sales). We have Part-Time, Seasonal position available. The hourly rate is $17 per hour.
The RV Detailer is primarily responsible for washing, cleaning, polishing, and performing general upkeep on RV interiors and exteriors to ensure they are clean and presentable for customers. This position will also provide general assistance at the dealership, including moving RVs, assisting co-workers, and assisting with cleaning the dealership lot.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for the detailing of the interior and exterior of customer RVs, recently purchased RVs and company vehicles.
- Detailing activities to include:

- Vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, washing, and waxing.
- Ensuring the exterior of the RV is clean and smudge-free
- Cleaning and polishing windows, wheels, and rims.
- Washing RV interiors (upholstery, applying leather cleaning products, removing, and cleaning floor mats, applying stain guard)
- Applying polish to remove scrapes.
- Using cloths, squeegees, or air compressors to dry surfaces of RVs.
- Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds/solutions according to formulas.
- Operate cleaning equipment or machines.
- Use a variety of handheld tools for detailing.
- Notify the manager or appropriate technician when you notice parts of the RV that require repair or replacement.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools, including power washers
- Must be dependable, possess strong attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience in the RV sector, including washing and cleaning vehicles, is an asset
- Must provide references and undergo a criminal clearance report during the hiring process
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
- Overtime may be required.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bend, twist, push, pull, and carry equipment and supplies.
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required.
- Use of ladders and/or scaffolding may be required.
- Manual dexterity is required to operate cleaning equipment and supplies.
