Looking for an opportunity in the Supply Chain industry? We are looking for a logistic admin assistant for 12-month contract position.
Agilus is recruiting for a Logistic Admin Assistant in the manufacturing industry in Markham, Ontario. The logistic admin assistant will be managing incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
A Typical Day
- Work closely with the logistics, 3PL, CSR and finance
- Assist in day-to-day logistics operation process
- Maintain and update files, records and preparation of reports
- Assisting with managing shipment schedules, tracking deliveries, and ensuring on-time arrivals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, ensuring effective communication, and resolving logistical issues.
Successful Candidates Will Have
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse administration and operations or similar roles
- Diploma, certification, education in Supply Chain
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite
- Intermediate to advance in Excel functions (i.e. VLook Up, Pivot tables etc)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- The ideal candidate is detail oriented and willing to learn
Total Rewards
- 12-month contract position
- Pay rate: $25
- Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm (one hour lunch)
- Fully on site: 2 days in Markham, On and 3 days in Whitby, ON
- Parking on site available
