Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and hands-on expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, SES, Secrets Manager, and RDS. The ideal candidate will also have solid front-end development experience using Angular and be proficient with PostgreSQL. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and microservices for cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable microservices hosted on AWS.
  • Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS EC2, S3, RDS, SES, and Secrets Manager.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular.
  • Create and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and performance tuning.
  • Work closely with DevOps and architecture teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration and cloud deployment.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Able to resolve SonarQube issues and write Junit test cases.
  • Integration testing & Unit testing of the functionality developed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments (development, staging, production).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java 17 and Spring Boot.

  • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, S3, RDS (Postgres), SES, Secrets Manager.

  • Understanding of front-end technologies and hands-on, especially Angular.

  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.

  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.

  • API testing with Postman.

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker is a plus).

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, DataDog
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • AWS certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect) are a plus.
