Key Responsibilities Include
Proposal & Client Support
- Proposal Development : Assist with proposal preparation and attend client meetings to gain an in-depth understanding of project requirements.
- Scope & Feasibility : Define project scope, deliverables, and feasibility through collaboration with Ops & Tech teams.
- Execution Strategy : Develop tailored execution strategies to meet and exceed client objectives.
BIM Coordination & Management
- BIM Software Deployment : Oversee and execute software deployment across BIM Implementation.
- Model Coordination : Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain accurate, coordinated BIM models for successful project delivery.
- Execution Plans : Develop, enforce, and communicate BIM execution plans to keep team members informed of updates.
- Project Expertise : Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, applying advanced BIM skills to ensure project success.
- Process Innovation : Drive continuous improvement through automation, troubleshooting technical issues, and promoting adherence to BIM standards.
- Continuous Improvement : Work with Ops & Tech to enhance project tools and methodologies, ensuring optimal quality and efficiency.
Project Support & Tools
- Tool Management : Develop and maintain essential project support tools, including SOW documents, checklists, and other resources.
- Quality Assurance : Regularly monitor model quality, correct errors, and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Technical Support : Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for BIM/Space Planning Technicians, ensuring quality deliverables.
- Mentorship & Training : Mentor junior team members and lead training sessions to promote professional growth and skill development.
Prerequisite Technical Skills
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years in BIM project delivery and coordination, with a preference for candidates with leadership or mentorship experience.
- Education : Diploma or degree in Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture is required.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM360, ACC, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with PowerBI is an asset.
- Additional Skills : Experience with Dynamo, AutoCAD, Point Clouds, Reality Capture, and interoperability between Revit and other software is highly valued.
- Project Workflow & Setup Expertise : Demonstrated success in establishing project workflows, managing and coordinating Revit models across disciplines, and ensuring model accuracy and data exchange for seamless multi-discipline collaboration. Skilled in 3D design and effective model management.
- Experience with BIM Facilities/Asset Management is considered an asset
- Experience with BIM in retail and commercial building projects is considered an asset.
