About Us:
The Grande Lagoon (formerly Lagoon City Marina) is a fully serviced marina under new ownership and management, located on Lake Simcoe’s east shore in Brechin, Ontario. We’re committed to creating a top-tier boating destination with excellent service and clean, modern facilities. As part of our growing seasonal team, we’re looking for friendly and responsible Gas Dock Attendants to help serve our boating guests this summer.
Job Description:
As a Gas Dock Attendant, you are the face of the marina for boaters fueling up, docking, or asking for assistance. Your primary responsibilities include safely dispensing fuel, handling dock lines, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly customer service on the docks.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispense fuel and collect payment from boaters

Assist with docking and securing boats

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the fuel dock and surrounding area

Monitor fuel levels and report supply needs
-
Ensure compliance with all marine fueling safety procedures

Provide general information and assistance to marina guests
-
Support marina staff with light maintenance tasks when required
Qualifications:
-
Previous marina or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
-
Strong communication and people skills
-
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
-
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
-
Must be at least 16 years old
-
Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) and WHMIS certification are assets (or willingness to obtain)
