Minimum Requirements What We’re Looking For:

  • CSIA Level 1 or CASI Level 1 certification (or international equivalent)
  • Valid Canadian work permit or visa
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Availability on weekends and holidays
  • Strong team player who thrives in a small, tight-knit crew

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach both group and private lessons to guests of all ages
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Ensure a fun and safe learning environment
  • Adhere to Winter Sports School policies and procedures
  • Additional opportunities to lead Snowshoe Tours, Fat Bike Tours, and assist with resort events

Wage Scale (Hourly)

  • Level 1: $19.50 – $21.50
  • Level 2: $23.50 – $25.50
  • Level 3: $25.25 – $27.25
  • Level 4: $30.25 – $32.25

Plus

  • Lesson Commissions: Starting at 10%, with incentives up to 20%
  • Additional pay increases for years of experience and multi-discipline certifications

Our hotels include the Slopeside Mountain Lodge & Lizard Creek Lodge at Fernie Alpine Resort, the Trickle Creek Lodge and the Polaris Lodge at Kimberley Alpine Resort as well as various rental properties in Stoneham, Quebec.

Our golf courses include Trickle Creek Golf Resort in Kimberley (Rated in Canada’s Top Ten by Golf Digest), Wintergreen Golf & Country Club in Bragg Creek and Le Grand Vallon near Mont-Sainte Anne.

Summer sightseeing lifts operate at both Fernie Alpine Resort and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, both which also offer fantastic Downhill Mountain Biking and mountain top dining throughout the summer season. Fernie Alpine Resort is also home to the New Aerial Park & Zipline Adventure Centre in the summer, while Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is home to Canada’s Largest Protected Grizzly Bear Habitat – home to Boo the Bear
