The Opportunity

Position Description

Join a dynamic organization where your financial expertise drives smart decision-making and operational excellence. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate, timely financials while supporting strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and franchisee operations. This is a high-impact role offering a blend of financial reporting, analytical insight, and hands-on payroll and benefits administration.

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
  • Lead month-end close and perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct budget variance, cost-benefit, and trend analysis
  • Support budget development, forecasting, and tax package preparation
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration, including ADP and compliance tasks
  • Assist with audits and provide key reporting to management and the parent company
  • Maintain HRIS data, respond to employee inquiries, and support HR compliance
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement and junior staff training

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in financial accounting; GAAP knowledge required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in franchising or construction

Qualifications

  • CPA designation or active candidate
  • Public accounting background
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software(s)
  • Solid grasp of payroll, benefits, and HR best practices
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential data

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
