At Capital Automotive Group, we don’t just sell cars – we build great teams! We’re on the lookout for an energetic and detail-loving Payroll Administrator to help us keep our payroll running smoothly for employees across Canada and California.
If you love numbers, systems, and the satisfying feeling of “payroll done right,” this is your next stop. Bonus points if you’ve already started your PCP certification – we’re looking for someone who’s completed at least the first course and is eager to grow!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing semi-monthly payroll for all our dealerships and body shop locations
- Auditing time punches (you have a sharp eye for missing or funky entries)
- Verifying new hire data so everyone gets paid correctly from day one
- Submitting ROEs and monthly payroll surveys like a pro
- Assisting with month-end payroll reports for Controllers (yes, your reports actually matter!)
- Teaming up with HR and Leadership to keep things smooth, accurate, and compliant
- Treating sensitive data with the confidentiality it deserves
You’ll Fit Right In If You Have:
- ✔️ 2+ years of payroll experience (bonus if in a dealership or multi-location environment with commission payroll experience)
- ✔️ Completed the first course of the PCP certification (required)
- ✔️ A curious mind that loves solving payroll puzzles and digging into details
- ✔️ Familiarity with both Canadian payroll and California wage laws (or you're excited to learn!)
- ✔️ Experience with time-tracking systems and payroll auditing
- ✔️ A positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
Why Join Capital Automotive Group?
We believe in supporting our people with more than just a paycheck. Here’s what else you can count on:
